Sarayu Chalo Ayodhya Ji
Sarayu Ayodhya Phase 4 will be launching in April 2025. We are excited to announce Maha Ram Navami Edition and calling it Chalo Ayodhya Ji. You all are now invited to book your luxury plots in Sarayu project by House of Abhinandan Lodha. As we have just entered a new financial year, we wanted to share some truly remarkable updates from our journey in Ayodhya.
“Ayodhya is not just a place on the map—it’s a place in the heart, where faith finds a home and the future finds its roots.” – by The House of Abhinandan Lodha.
These developments further reinforce the wisdom behind your early and visionary land investment. Ayodhya is not just transforming—it is thriving. The city has emerged as a global hub for spiritual tourism, surpassing even the Taj Mahal in terms of tourist footfall last year. The Mahakumbh 2025 alone welcomed over 13 crore visitors. This cultural and spiritual resurgence is reshaping expectations and firmly placing Ayodhya on the global map.
Amid this incredible momentum, our flagship development, The Sarayu Ayodhya project, continues to make steady progress. But in this edition, we wanted to go beyond project updates and highlight how Ayodhya itself is rising—becoming a vibrant nucleus of tourism, commerce, and cultural revival. On 6th April, Ayodhya is set to host the grandest Ram Navami celebration in over 500 years—a once-in-a-generation moment in the city’s storied history. We thank you for your continued belief in the vision. Chalo Ayodhya Ji the best is yet to come.

Religious Tourism: A $59 Billion Opportunity
According to a KPMG report, religious tourism in India is expected to reach $59 billion in the next three years. An article in The Week highlights that the prosperity brought by liberalisation has also brought about a sense of insecurity, prompting many to turn to faith to cope with the stresses of modern work life. The pandemic further deepened this introspection, driving people to seek meaning beyond materialism and towards more enriching experiences.
“Wherever faith walks, prosperity follows. Ayodhya is rising on the shoulders of belief.” – by the spiritual surge in India.
Places of worship like Vaishno Devi and Guruvayur saw a dramatic increase in footfall after the pandemic. At Vaishno Devi, daily visitors increased from 10,000 to 40,000, while Guruvayur saw a rise from 4,000 to 7,000 per day. The Ayodhya Development Authority had forecasted 3.2 crore tourists in 2024, but by September that year, the footfall had already crossed 13.5 crore—far exceeding expectations.
“A nation’s culture resides in the hearts and in the soul of its people.” – Mahatma Gandhi.
Impact of Spiritual Tourism on Infrastructure and Economy

This exponential growth in spiritual tourism has had a cascading effect on infrastructure and the economy. There has been massive investment in airport expansions, road connectivity, and hospitality. The growth is also spurring industrial development, rising employment, and overall monetary growth, thereby boosting the state’s economy significantly.
“Great cities are not built overnight; they are crafted by vision, driven by purpose, and rooted in heritage.”
Mahakumbh 2025: A Case Study in Spiritual Economics
This case study is for you to why you should invest in HOABL Sarayu Project in Ayodhya.

The Mahakumbh Mela 2025 was a historic event, drawing 66 crore pilgrims and generating ₹3 lakh crore—almost 1% of India’s GDP. This remarkable gathering reaffirmed India’s spiritual depth and showcased the power of spiritual tourism to fuel hospitality, transportation, retail, and real estate sectors. As the world’s attention now turns to Ayodhya—dubbed the Global Spiritual Capital—the upcoming Maha Ram Navami 2025 promises to be even more monumental, further establishing the city as a top destination for both religious and investment interests.
“The light of Shri Ram now shines brighter than ever, illuminating the soul of a nation.”
India’s current population is approximately 140 crore, and nearly 66 crore people attended the Mahakumbh, with more than half estimated to be under 30 years old. The event saw delegates from 76 countries, 50 lakh devotees from Nepal, and 2 lakh devotees from 27 other nations. The spiritual gathering also led to a surge in tourism across nearby cities like Lucknow, Varanasi, Vrindavan, and of course, Ayodhya, as pilgrims visited the Ram Mandir after participating in the holy dip at the Mahakumbh.
“This Ram Navami isn’t just a celebration—it’s a moment 500 years in the making.”
Location Map and Connectivity
Ayodhya: The Global Spiritual Capital
Ayodhya today stands as a symbol of both tradition and transformation. Rooted in heritage yet embracing the future, the city is evolving into an international centre of spiritual tourism. With rich cultural festivals, world-class infrastructure, and a strong spiritual legacy, Ayodhya is poised to become a beacon of faith, unity, and sustainable development. Plans for grand temples, monasteries, ashrams, temple museums, and majestic gateways are underway to reinforce its position as India’s top cultural hub.
The city’s development strategy also focuses on generating employment through tourism, enhancing healthcare accessibility, modernising urban infrastructure, and maintaining a clean, sustainable environment. With improved air, road, and rail connectivity, Ayodhya is more accessible than ever. Every step of its transformation pays homage to its spiritual roots and honours the legacy of Shri Ram. Restoration of ponds, revitalisation of historical gardens, and creation of new green spaces are all part of the effort to preserve the city’s picturesque charm.
Massive Infrastructure Transformation in Ayodhya
In the past two years, Ayodhya has witnessed unprecedented progress. Backed by an investment of ₹22,875 crore, the focus has been on improving roadways, bridges, public amenities, and urban beautification. This includes pilgrimage and tourism routes like the Panchkosi Parikrama Marg, Chaudah Kosi Parikrama Marg, and Chaurasikoshi Pilgrimage Route, many of which are already complete or nearing completion. Key transport projects like the NH-27 Road Over Bridge and Surya Kund ROB are significantly enhancing connectivity. The 231 km SoHawal-Nawabganj Ring Road and Ayodhya-Darshan Nagar ROB are key examples of the city’s infrastructural evolution.
Urban Development and Beautification Efforts
Parallel to transport development, major township and beautification projects are in progress. The 1,407-acre Greenfield Township, 61% completed Abhinandan Lodha Sarayu Riverfront project, and the Ram Ki Paidi Audience Gallery are just a few highlights. Initiatives like Vashisht Kunj Township, Macchar Hatta Parking, and Guptar Ghat beautification are reshaping the cityscape. Smart City solutions including Health ATMs, citizen facilitation centres, and state-run smart parking are nearing full completion, redefining urban living in Ayodhya.
Project Updates: Progress at The Sarayu by Abhinandan Lodha
With Ayodhya in the spotlight, our own development— Ayodhya Sarayu Plotted Development project is progressing rapidly. The main entrance gate is shaping up beautifully, the Ananta Clubhouse foundation is underway, and substantial work has been completed on road retention walls, road surfacing, stormwater drains, and boundary wall piling. All these developments are aligned with Ayodhya’s broader vision of spiritual modernisation and urban excellence.
Tourism Driving Economic Growth
The Shri Ram Janmabhoomi has been a key driver of Ayodhya’s economic transformation. It is generating an estimated ₹25,000 crore annually in tourism revenue, with a ₹5,000 crore impact on regional GDP due to record-breaking footfall. A ₹650 crore investment in the Indian Temple Museum will further enhance the city’s cultural offerings. Celebrations such as Deepotsav, Ram Navami, and Parikramas are contributing an additional ₹1,500 crore annually, underscoring Ayodhya’s rising economic importance.
Maha Ram Navami – 6th April 2025: The Grandest Celebration in 500 Years
This year, Ayodhya will host the grandest celebration of Ram Navami in over 500 years. The city is preparing to welcome millions for this once-in-a-lifetime spiritual gathering.
